The pain that made the purpose
Before we ever manufactured a single Liftt door, we spent years fitting other brands across the UK.
And here’s what nobody tells you:
those doors kept going wrong. Motors burning out. Safety edges playing up.
brittle 55 mm laths bending and denting. Locking straps snapping.
When the doors failed, the big manufacturers hid behind their small print.
But our name – and our 5-year warranty – was on the job.
So we were the ones paying for replacement parts and repairs to keep customers protected.
Most companies would have quietly tightened their terms and reduced their warranty.
We chose the opposite.
The turning point
We made a simple decision:
if our name is on a door, it has to be built properly.
- No flimsy 55 mm slats as standard.
- No budget motors that struggle after a few years.
- No cutting corners on safety systems.
- No hiding behind suppliers when things go wrong.
That’s when Liftt doors were born: built from frustration, engineered for trust.
